The farm consists of a mixture of breeds originating from a herd of Ankole cows that had been owned for generations. They also maintain a small herd of Ankole cows for the purpose of conservation and tourism. In addition to livestock farming, they also practice agro-tourism, agro-forestry and crop agriculture for human and animal feeding.
